Gone dotty.....

Loving my new digi papers from http://www.pinkpetticoat.co.uk/ & they come in such a fab selection of colours, 52 of them! Had a lovely time this afternoon checking out my Promarker colours against the Pink Petticoat colour range...... (How sad am I, I really should get out more!)
Still I did managed to colour in 3 images and make a card with 1 of them while the kids went off to the beach for a swim with their friends.......... Brrrrrr the water's still way to cold to tempt me despite the gorgeous sunshine we have had today.
So onto my card, I have used 'Doodle dots' papers, in both the negative and the positive options, in the colour 'Olive' for this card & teamed them up with Bazzill 'Leapfrog'

A recipe: 2 patterned papers, 3 colours & 4 buttons. Now I am hoping that skin/hair colours are not included. My colours are Green, Yellow & a little bit of Lilac. Please ignore my entry if I have been naughty with my interpretation of this. I won't sulk..........well not for long anyway.

In the pink.....

I made the card in my previous post for my daughter's friend, but I did make a boo boo.......it should have been pink! So last night I had another go at it, in pink this time.

It started out with a pink background but I just can't cope with that much pink, so swapped it for a white embossed one instead.

http://papertakeweekly.blogspot.com/ ~ Shiny, Sparkly & Special. The butterflies are painted with pearlescent water colour paints from The Works and have a beautiful shimmer that doesn't show in the pic and the flowers all have some Stickles glitter on them and shiny pearls too.

THANK YOU's & a challenge card

Wow.....What a fab week I've been having.
It was my birthday yesterday and all week the postie has been delivering packages for me :0) In fact he said I had the most post in the road Tuesday.......yay! So I want to say a huge
****** THANK YOU***THANK YOU***THANK YOU ******
to my lovely crafting friends who have send me so many gorgeous cards & goodies. My cards look FAB all displayed in the lounge and may just have to stay there for some time.
Monday I had the pleasure of popping into The Glitter Pot on my way home from work to buy my own birthday pressies.
Now that may seem a bit odd, but lets face it what does my OH know about crafting!
He did confiscate my stash the minute I stepped over the threshold so that he & the kids could wrap all my booty. And you know what, even though I knew what I was going to get, that actually made it even more exciting 'cos I KNEW I was going to get great pressies! LOL
Tonight I will finally have a chance to actually play with my treasures and surprise, surprise I am really looking forward to that.

The only crafting I have managed this week is this purple creation which I would like to enter for the http://sketchsaturday.blogspot.com/ challenge as I have used their brilliant sketch, rotated 180*. I am so loving LOTV stamps right now!

A long forgotten teddy.......

........Oooh I had forgotten I had this cute teddy stamp in my stash. Came across him while I was looking for an image to use for a birthday card. Well now that I have re-discovered him, I just had to use him. As promised yesterday, after my challenge mix up, I have now used the lovely sketch from the http://sketchandstashchallenge.blogspot.com/ and here is the results....

1 card, 3 challenges....

Hi, hope you are having some sunshine where you are and life is good! The school where I work was closed for polling today so very quiet with no kids! I did have to go in though, but hey, it's been a pleasant morning with the radio on and the sun streaming through the windows sorting out a huge display board ready for an under the sea theme.

Managed to finish a card last night, it's only taken me about 3 days.....I am sooooooooo slow right now as I can't sit for too long as it aggravated my back something awful.
May is a really busy month for birthdays for me too!
So here it is.....

From the photo I have picked out the pinky red colour and the touch of green (OK so there is not a lot in the pic but the dolls shoes are green!) The papers are from my Two Scoops pad.

My new stash used is my gorgeous new Marianne Creatable flowers and a............... oooooh I don't know what it's called! It cuts & embosses a decorative strip which you can then weave ribbon through, as I have, or just leave the cut out areas as they are.......either way it looks pretty.
