Two cards.....Two challenges.

At last, with half term upon us, I have some time to play and a bit more enthusiasm, both of which are helpful!
Last week I came across and joined in with the Less is More
second challenge, here's their idea.....
"We aim to promote the making of classic Clean and Simple cards, with different challenges each week to help stimulate your imagination...."
I intent to try really hard and join in with this challenge every week. This weeks theme is SPRING.
Here's my entry...

Image is an adorable House Mouse one ~This egg's for you HMF1011 coloured with Promarkers.
Text was done on PC following Chrissie's fab text tips, which can also be found on the Less is More blog. Fonts are Comic Sans MS and Candy Round BTN.
Embossed frame using a Cuttlebug folder and mounted onto Bazzil card.

No flowers....no gems....no ribbon....Oh boy it's really hard to resist adding bits!!

My second card is fairly similar but I think this embossing folder makes it look more busy and less Clean & Simple so I gave into the urge to add Glossy Accents to all the flowers :0) and this is my entry for the PB Allsorts challenge for February ~ Say it with flowers.

Thanks for stopping by!

  2. Both cards are fab, but I think your comment is true about the embossing folders. Who would have thought that just the style of embossing would make such a difference... the second one does look more fussy.
Thanks for joining us again... it's great to know that people are returning to our challenge week after week. Wonderful!

  3. Hi Kaz 2 super cards.
Yes, I agree with you the second looks more fussy, less CAS. Maybe without the matting an layering you;d have got away with it.
Both FAB cards nonetheless, 2 super images
