..........to all you Mum's out there, I hope you all had a lovely day and were spoiled rotten!
I was treated to cards & breakfast in bed & after a leisurely start went off into town with my youngest to get him some new clothes! Little monkey just keeps on growing. I have managed a bit of crafting too.
A while back, while blog hopping, I came across this fantastic blog
http://bettys-creations.blogspot.com/ and was blown away with the fabulous creations I found there. With so many fab tutorials how could I resist! With a couple of templates printed off my daughter & I got to work & had a lovely time creating. I made just 1 whilst my daughter beavered away and made 7 of these today to give to her friends at Easter. Thank you so much Betty for the tutorials and the inspiration, your blog is totally wicked!
Here's what we have been making....Easter baskets.
I would like to enter this for the following challenges
http://housemouse-challenge.blogspot.com/ ~ Anything but a card.
http://www.cutecardthursday.blogspot.com/ ~ Celebrations
http://creativecardcrew.blogspot.com/ ~ also have Celebrations as their theme
http://critterchallengeblog.blogspot.com/ ~ their challenge this week is to have a flower some where on your creation and the second part is to use the colour combo blue, yellow & green.
So, I have made an Easter basket using the template from Betty's blog and decorated it with some yellow K&Company papers. Cut out yellow & green ovals from Bazzil card with my nesties and layer them up with this cute House Mouse image 'This egg's for you'. I water coloured the image using the colour combo and finished it off with yellow organza ribbon and 2 flower brads. The little guys egg has been given the Glossy accent treatment. Oh and I have used a Martha Stewart punch to do the handle. All I need now is some yummy choccie eggs!
Thanks for visiting.
