A masculine card........Eeeeeek!
That's the challenge over at the Less is More challenge this week. Now why is it brain freeze usually sets in the minute a male card is called for?
Still, I did need some extra motivation as I needed to make an anniversary card for my lovely hubbie and the CAS style of card does lend itself to male cards rather nicely I think so I set to work and here's my card....
I've used 2 shades of brown Bazzill card and gold embossing powers. The heart stamp is from a freebie set which came with my craft mag. Text done on PC.
I think he liked it.....perhaps a wee bit surprised as it is not my usual kind a card.
Thanks for stopping by!

Penny Black gets the CAS treatment
Along with half the crafting world, I am loving cards with the clean & simple look, although have to admit it's a whole lot harder than it looks! So I thought I would have a practice and after much shuffling & dithering this card eventually emerged........and I have to say it took me forever!!! How the heck can it take me soooooo long when the card is soooo simple?!?
That said I'm quite chuffed with it and will be doing a few more in different colours.
I stamped both the sentiment and the image using a clear embossing stamp pad and heat embossed with detail white embossing powders. I then used a white gel pen to draw a wavy line under the tree and added Stickles Frosted Lace to make some sparkly 'snow'. All the dots in the tree have also been given the Stickles treatment in my favorite colour 'Star Dust' Sadly all the sparkles don't show up in my pic :0( but it is very sparkly in real life..........honest!
Challenges:
Simon Says - Anything goes.
One Stop Craft Challenge - Clean & simple
Thanks for taking the time to visit me!
