Inky fun.....

I have been inspired by Jules to get stuck into my box........(err or should that be boxes!)........of DP & coloured card snippets and reduce the mountain. There is just one problem, as fast as I clear some, I seem to create a whole load more!

Now the thing is I make my own square base cards from A4 card so each & every time I make one I create yet another 'snippet' of white card. My snippet stash of white card is even bigger than the DP's & coloured card..........eeeek! So I decided to see what I could do with a slim long white card snippet. Gotta start on that pile sometime so out came the distress inks and I played.

Here's what developed........

Ingredients:~

Ranger distress inks - Stormy Sky; Chipped Sapphire; Tattered Rose; Victorian Velvet; Wild Honey & Spiced Marmalade.

Hero Art stamp 'Dandelion'

Stickles 'Star Dust'

Hobby House pearls 'Golden Trio'

Card & ribbon from bits 'n' pieces box aka snippets box.

Peel off text from stash (now there's another pile that needs reducing!)

Ooops I took the pic in too strong a sunlight so the colours look just a darker & bolder IRL.

Hugs

Love what you have done here. Your distress ink colours are gorgeous and I love the stickle treatment of your beautiful image.

    Great finished card.

Sounds like a lot of snowflakes might be in order if you have that many white snippets!! LOL!!

Thank you for sharing your lovely creations and inspiring me.

  3. Fabulous! Love that blue background and the Glamour dust on the image looks amazing. I make my square cards the same way, never really knew what to do with the leftovers...I do now.

  5. This card is beautiful. I love that dandelion. I often have white card over too but there are only so many snowflakess you can make so I will bear this technique in mind next time I'm wnating to reduce the snippet mountain.
